It's hard to believe how much has changed in a month. In some ways it feels like a whole year has passed.
Like many other businesses, we've had to change how we operate. Following March Break, we launched our new virtual lesson format. It's been an adjustment (for everyone) but we've loved having the opportunity to see our students each week and share a bit of normalcy.
We're so grateful to be able to continue providing music lessons to our students - and to the many new ones who recently joined us for virtual lessons.
We're currently looking into ways we can build upon our virtual format by adding extra classes (theory, songwriting, how to improvise, etc) along with other fun virtual hangouts (music bingo, open mic, etc). If this is something you / your child would be interested in, let us know.
On that note, this year (mid-June) we will be hosting a virtual showcase for our students. We've done these before and we're excited to once again provide our students with an opportunity to showcase their talents to family and friends. Stay tuned for more details ...
Although a lot has changed, one of the things that hasn't is the power of music. We've seen many people turn to the arts for inspiration and comfort during this time. Learning and playing music is an investment that will last a lifetime.
