Music Matters has been set up by North Bay School of Music in order to provide free music lessons and mentoring to kids who would otherwise be unable to access such opportunities.

"Give Where You Live" is an initiative through the North Bay and Area Community Foundation. A portion of our proceeds are donated to this organization and are used to support local charitable and not-for-profit organizations. The major beneficiary for 2013 is Hands TheFamilyHelpNetwork.ca. Give Where You Live is helping to support Hands in their Family Matters Campaign in building a Clinical Mental Health Facility to accommodate the 7000 families that they help each year in North Eastern Ontario.

Every few months our students have an opportunity to visit Cassellholme and play (or sing) for the seniors. This is a great way to put a smile on somebody's face. We want our students to know that music (and art) can be used to bring joy and encouragement to someone's life. http://www.cassellholme.on.ca
